Sign up for the Baby Swim Course 5-7 April 2024 Course
Mind Body Baby together with Swim Dynamics Baby Course focuses on using soft teaching methods to teach babies between the ages of 6 months and 3 years old. The course imparts the knowledge of how to work with parents and babies in a group situation. The course will teach an instructor how to plan lessons using a systematic approach in order to guide the babies with their parents through a series of 13 vital skills progressing towards the babies becoming waterborne. Candidates learn how to hold the babies correctly to maximise their experience of water buoyancy while still allowing the babies to feel safe and secure.
Candidates will also receive training on the ethical & legal obligations when teaching babies to swim as well as guidance on how to run a successful swim school.
The babies learn through play, love, effective communication, and repetition how to:
- balance in the water.
- help themselves should they fall into a body of water.
- move their arms & legs to swim and get to safety.
- how to regain standing position in shallow water.
- submerge safely, without fear and without inhaling the water.
